How We Do It (No Scraping, No API Keys)

Toklytics intercepts TikTok's internal API responses using Chrome's webRequest API. When you browse a creator's profile, TikTok's own frontend fetches data from endpoints like:

• /api/user/detail/
• /api/post/item_list/

We simply read those responses before they're rendered — the same data TikTok shows you, just calculated differently.

Yes, completely free. No premium tier, no paywalls, no "upgrade for more profiles." The Chrome extension is free forever. We plan to offer optional paid features on toklytics.app (web dashboard, historical data, bulk analysis) but the extension itself will always be free.
When you browse TikTok, their website fetches data from internal APIs. Toklytics reads those responses (which your browser already receives) and calculates useful metrics from them. No scraping, no proxies, no API keys needed.
The extension only reads publicly visible data that TikTok already shows you. It doesn't interact with your account, post anything, or modify TikTok's behavior. We're not aware of any account actions related to using browser extensions.
Currently desktop only (Chrome, Edge, Brave, and other Chromium browsers). We're working on a Safari extension for Mac and iOS — join our waitlist for updates.
All data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API. Nothing is sent to external servers unless you explicitly enable cloud sync to toklytics.app.
