My thoughts on Marakyu Koyamen - Unkaku: I’ve heard a lot of mixed reviews. Fortunately my experience is positive. (Beauty of having different preferences!) I find it rich in umami in the best way. It’s full bodied, slightly grassy and sweet with no bitterness or astringency. The mouthfeel is creamy and so smooth. It whisks beautifully. I’m more of a latte drinker but this as usucha is my default! Highly suggest, you may be converted. (It’s good as latte too but don’t skip out on trying!)
