After more than 3 years, we’re moving. I bought this house with the intention of raising our kids together in it but life had other plans. Instead, you all witnessed me show up day after day as a single dad, turning everyday moments into content that helped me heal. This house became a part of my journey of rebuilding, growing, and finding strength through the chaos. But honestly, it was hard living in a space built for a version of life that never came to be. I’m finally ready to close this chapter. The kids and I are moving into our DREAM HOME. One we chose together. One that feels like a true fresh start and a new beginning for all of us. After all the packing, planning, and chaos we’re finally in. Today felt like the first real day of settling in. I dropped the boxes in the kitchen, tucked the barstools into place, wiped down the counters, and started unpacking the same dishes that have followed us through every chapter. It’s funny how something as simple as putting pots and pans away can feel so grounding. The house isn’t fully set up yet, but the energy already feels right and so peaceful. After everything it took to get here, tonight just felt big. The chaos, the hard nights, the doubt, the sleepless nights all lead up to this.
