Happy Friday! I’ve always wanted to try ummon. I was very lucky my friend got it for me in Japan pre-price increase. Would I buy it at its current price? I wish! Ummon is one of the higher offerings from Ippodo. This is full-bodied and rich in umami flavor. (If that’s not your thing don’t get this). It’s very well-balanced with a smooth, sweet creaminess.
