100 CLOVES OF GARLIC BRISKET. 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil 5 lb brisket 100 cloves garlic Kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste 3 large sweet onions, thinly sliced 1 teaspoon cumin 1 teaspoon coriander powder 1 teaspoon turmeric 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon Aleppo pepper 1/4 cup tomato paste 1 bottle dry red wine (I used Zinfandel) 15 oz can crushed tomatoes 1 cup beef stock (or chicken/vegetable stock) 1 small bunch thyme sprigs Bake at 350 degrees Farenhight for 5-6 hours. #brisket #recipe #garlic #cooking
