An emotional moment watching our son go from toddler to big boy with just one haircut 🥹 The reason the first snip is from the top of the hair is because that is the place where the Tefillin (the praying boxes that men wear) is worn. It’s always beautiful to connect one commandment to the next! Some have the customs to first cut the side curls because that’s the custom for a boy to start wearing side curls from age three!
