Let’s make these delicious Papas ala diabla aka Mexican spicy potatoes 🥔🌶️ they are the perfect snack! 😋 Ingredients: •1.5 lbs mini yellow potatoes •5 garlic cloves •1 small piece of onion •2 guajillo peppers (without seeds) •6 arbol peppers 🥵 (add more or less to your liking) •Juice of 2 limes •Pinch of chicken bullion •Pinch of Tajin •1/2 cup of water •1 tablespoon butter •Chopped cilantro 1. Wash the potatoes and boil with a pinch of salt. Once they are soft (20-25 mins) strain them and set them aside. (Careful to not over cook them, we don’t want them to burst) 2. For the red spicy sauce, heat a frying pan over medium-low heat with cooking oil. Once hot, add 1 garlic and the small piece of onion. Cook for a couple of minutes and then turn off the heat. Add the guajillo and arbol peppers and fry for 2-3 minutes. (Be careful that they dont burn, otherwise the sauce will be bitter) Then remove the frying pan from the burner and let it cool down. 3. Once they have cooled, add them to the blender along with the juice of 2 limes, 1 pinch of chicken bullion , 1 pinch of Tajin and 1/2 cup of water. Blend and set aside. 4. Heat a frying pan over medium heat, melt a tablespoon of butter and saute 4 minced garlic cloves. After 1 minute add the potatoes, mix and add the sauce you blended. Let it cook for 1-2 minutes and they are ready. Garnish with Tajin to taste and chopped cilantro 😋 #papasendiabladas #papasaladiabla #papaslocas #mexicansnacks #mexicanrecipes
